Sunday School in Action

Yay! Sunday School is in full swing for our youth. Each week, children from preschool through 6th grade hear about God's love through song, prayer, crafts and stories. We pray that God continues to work in the hearts of these children and their teachers.

Schedule for Sunday Morning

8:15 - Adult Bible class
8:30 - Sunday School and confirmation class for youth
9:30 - Sunday Worship in the sanctuary

There will be coffee in the Family Life Center from 8:00 until after the church service. Please stop by the FLC before or after church for coffee and fellowship.

Bible Studies at Church

  • Sundays at 8:15 a.m. ~ Adult Bible Study

  • Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. - Vicar Walt Little (resumes July 31)

  • Fridays at 10:00 a.m. - Pastor Stolle (out for the Summer)

"God Was Not That Silent Between the Testaments" is the title of a new Bible study Pastor Dunn will be leading in the Sunday Adult Bible Class beginning June 23rd. We typically have the idea that between the last book of the Old Testament and the birth of Jesus God did not speak to His people. For most of us, our knowledge of the Old Testament ends with the destruction of Solomon's Temple and the Babylonian Captivity. We may be a bit sketchy on what happened after that. Yet, God's people still needed preparing for the "last days" (see how this term is used in Hebrews 1:1-2). This study will run through to the end of the summer.

Vicar Walt Little's Bible Study ~ Wednesdays @ 10:00

Walt's Bible Study will resume Wednesday, July 31, 10am.

Pastor Stolle’s Bible Class ~ Fridays @ 10:00

Pastor Stolle's Bible Class is out for the summer. Watch for the new Fall session

FAMILY MEAL KIT DONATION DRIVE

The Board of Human Care is collecting donations to put together healthy family meal kits. Each kit provides all the necessary ingredients for an easy, complete nutritious meal to feed one hunger-insecure family. Donations will be accepted through the end of July; benefiting both Harvester’s and the Messiah Food Pantry. Please consider donating individual or even all items that’s needed for a meal. Monetary donations will also be accepted to purchase ingredients. If contributing using a check, please designate “Family Meal Kit Donation Drive” so the funds can be allocated appropriately. See the table in the narthex or ask any member of the Human Care Board (Flannery Bartels, Johna Brill, Darlene Crain, Lourene Embree, Candy King, Mark and Mary Lippe, Dean and Bev Mettlen, Doug and Pam Rinas) for more information.
