Walker Program
Ascension’s Walker Program is live! The Family Life Center is open for walking from 7 am to 10 am weekdays. Walking is a great way to start your day and can improve both your physical and mental health! Please join us.
Our Walker Program provides our members and our community with a forum for physical exercise through walking and fellowship. Ascension members serve as hosts for the program; which is open weekdays from 7 am to 10 am (not including holidays or when there is inclement weather). If you are interested in serving as a host, a host substitute, and/or would like more information please feel free to reach out to Charles Green or Pam Rinas.

Dorcas Circle Collection
Dorcas Circle is collecting snack packs with tuna, chicken, or ham salad and crackers to include in the sack lunches LUMA-Auxiliary will be packing at the March meeting. The sack lunches will be given to the food pantries LUMA supports. If you would like to donate to this project, place the items in the LUMA basket on the table in the narthex.
Stewardship Thought
Author and Evangelist Corrie Ten Boom once said, “The measure of life, after all is not its duration, but its donation”. Carry on the legacy that honors your loved one’s care and kindness. Consider these four ideas….
Grow something-a living reminder of those gone before and an opportunity to share with others their remembrance.
Foster new traditions-purchase a cake to celebrate a birthday. Buy someone a cold drink or coffee to celebrate an event of your loved one.
Serve others-volunteer for a cause close to your departed loved one.
Give in their memory-a gift in your will to Ascension is a lasting tribute to the legacy of their love.
