Sunday School in Action

Yay! Sunday School is in full swing for our youth. Each week, children from preschool through 6th grade hear about God's love through song, prayer, crafts and stories. We pray that God continues to work in the hearts of these children and their teachers.

Schedule for Sunday Morning

8:15 - Adult Bible class
8:30 - Sunday School and confirmation class for youth
9:30 - Sunday Worship in the sanctuary

There will be coffee in the Family Life Center from 8:00 until after the church service. Please stop by the FLC before or after church for coffee and fellowship.

Vicar Walt Little's Bible Study ~

Vicar Walt Little's Bible study on the book TOGETHER WE BELIEVE A Study of the Apostles’ Creed by Emily Belvery will begin April 15 at 10:00 a.m. Vicar Walt will be ordering books. If interested let him know so he has enough books for everyone.

Pastor Stolle’s Bible Class ~

Bible Study with Pastor Stolle on the book of Zechariah began on Friday, March 13th 10am.

Adopt-a-Street Pickup

It's time for our first pickup of 2026. We will have an Adopt-a-Street pickup on Saturday, March 28th. We will meet at Ascension at 8:45am to get vests and bags. Our “adopted street” is Blue Ridge Boulevard from 51st Street to I-70. Come and join us as we serve our neighbors and community by sprucing up Blue Ridge Boulevard for Easter and the rest of Spring. Contact Doug Rinas with any questions you may have.

Men's Breakfast and Workday

There will be no Men’s Breakfast in March. The next Men’s Breakfast will be April 4th at 8:00. After fortifying ourselves with breakfast be prepared to help with some church cleanup in preparation for Easter. We will coordinate with Bill Cook on what needs to be done.

Walker Program

Ascension’s Walker Program is live! The Family Life Center is open for walking from 7 am to 10 am weekdays. Walking is a great way to start your day and can improve both your physical and mental health! Please join us.

Our Walker Program provides our members and our community with a forum for physical exercise through walking and fellowship. Ascension members serve as hosts for the program; which is open weekdays from 7 am to 10 am (not including holidays or when there is inclement weather). If you are interested in serving as a host, a host substitute, and/or would like more information please feel free to reach out to Charles Green or Pam Rinas.

Fellowship in the Family Life Center

A reminder that there is coffee available in the Family Life Center after Church. Grab a cup and visit with friends.
