Ascension Lutheran Church now hosts a Stand to Reason (STR) outpost. Stand to Reason is a ministry that trains Christians to think more clearly about their faith and STR outposts are local communities of Christians seeking answers to the hard questions about Classical Christianity. Each outpost is led by a director who provides STR content on Christian apologetics and leads discussions on defending the faith. Jared Bartels is the director for the outpost at Ascension and will lead a 7-week study, Why Apologetics, beginning August 24th.
