Our Walker Program provides our members and our community with a forum for physical exercise through walking and fellowship. Ascension members serve as hosts for the program; which is open weekdays from 7 am to 10 am (not including holidays or when there is inclement weather). If you are interested in serving as a host, a host substitute, and/or would like more information please feel free to reach out to Charles Green or Pam Rinas.

We Need Coats!

Christmas store Season is here. Help MLM stock the Christmas Store with winter coats. We are particularly in need of men’s winter coats—both new and gently used donations are welcome. Email PatriciaHernandez@mlmkc.org to coordinate a time to drop them off at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1700 Westport Road, December 8th-12th. Together, we can give the gift of warmth and comfort to those in our community this Christmas season.

Stewardship Moment

Ascension is known for committed and caring stewardship. Our membership is aware of the opportunity to respond to God’s generosity…not as a band-aid for a budget gap but as regular support because it is biblical.
